A new film that has caught my eye is Dracula Untold, the Castlevania crossed with Game of Thrones look alike based on the classic tales of Dracula. Although not involving an A-list cast, lead vamp' Luke Evans seems to portray a young and more violent version of the vampire and the trailer has it's viewer hooked from the first moments. With the film not out till October 3rd, I think Dracula Untold is going to be a "dark horse" film to keep and eye on.

The newest name...that's right there is more!
Scoot Mcnariy is the latest name to be added to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. He has not been confirmed in a role, but he has become the centre of the rumour of becoming the new Robin or even a replacement for Green Lantern. With a cast list that may make the credits longer than the film itself, we'll have to keep our eyes peeled and watch what is coming next. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is released 29 April 2016.

Every stay calm, don't fanout just yet...
Avengers: Age of Ultron is getting it's first real teaser at San Diego Comic Con. I know what you're thinking, yes there is still just under a year till it's release; yes Marvel have kept the film hidden for a long while and distracted the fans with Guardians of the Galaxy, but we should all be ready and buzzed for what may be the biggest film ever, maybe overtaking the first Avenger film as one of the greatest grossing films ever.

Potter, get out of that Batmobile!
Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter franchise has expressed his interest of playing the part of Batman's sidekick, Robin. He thinks he could be "perfect" for the role. Although this is not a confirmation, it is Radcliffe putting his name in for a new role. Batman V Superman is released in May 2016, so Snyder has a couple of years to decide if he needs a British Boy Wonder.

Perlman ready to "fight" for Hellboy 3
After years of thought and discouragement, it seems Hellboy is a step closer to having his third film made. It was long thought that the film would never be made, but now the star, Ron Perlman, is ready to "fight" for the final installment of Hellboy. With the first two films being described as set ups for a huge conclusion, it will be nice to see a rounded off conclusion for the big red daemon who loves cats.
Batfleck alone in 2019
With the high expectations of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice it seems the Batman is to get his stand alone film at the later stages of DC's film list. Ben Afleck is still locked into the central role, but 2019 is a long time for the fans to get used to his new career as the Dark Knight. 2019 will also be the seven year mark for the end of Nolan's trilogy. Until then we have Batman V Superman in 2016 and then Justice League to prepare ourselves and see how good the newest Batman will fair at the box office.

Is Shazam on his way with six other DC films?
Alright, time to get your heads around this dilemma. Nikki Finke, the original poster for the DC list of films being planned had no back up evidence for this list, so many people took it with a pinch of salt. But now a second name, Kevin Smith, a man with comic connections and a friendship with Ben Affleck has said the list is accurate to his knowledge. The "seven films in three years" may seem bonkers to the average film studio, but if DC are serious about stepping up their game to keep up with the Marvel success it seems this may be their new option. The list of films is as follows, with only on confirmed and being made as we speak;
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice- May 2016
Shazam- July 2016
Sandman- Christmas 2016
Justice League- May 2017
Wonder Woman- July 2017
Flash and Green Lantern team up- Christmas 2017
Man of Steel 2- May 2018
Although Sandman has been thrown about and the Justice League is going to be made around that time, many of those films have not even been considered. Is Shazam going to join the Justice League? What about Green Lantern? Is Flash going to be the same one from the series starting this Autumn? What about Cyborg, Aquaman and Nightwing, the other characters who are to be seen in Batman v Superman
1983, year of the Apocalypse*minor spoilers included*
FOX have told us that the next installment of X-men will be based in 1983, ten years after X-men: Days of Future Past and twenty after X-men First Class. This means we should expect to see a little bit of aging make up to some of the cast to get them to keep Magneto, Wolverine and Mystique will be making an appearance in order to stop the evil Apocalypse; who was featured along side the four horsemen in the ending credits of X-men: Days of Future Past. X-Men: Apocalypse is set to be released 19 May 2016.
Guardians get a new trailer
The latest Guardians of the Galaxy trailer has more details for Star Lord's past and filled with little clues for the plot line. With a horde of one shots for each character, we begin to see more details about how each of the characters feel about trying to save the billions of people at risk from the villains. With the inclusion of the expected humour, the trailer is likely to be the final on before thee release on August 1st.

Who is ready for Aquaman?
You read that perfectly, Aquaman is hitting our big screens. Jason Momoa, Game of Thrones and Conan, has been officially cast as king of Atlantis. It is said he is jointing the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast as a man not too happy with how Zod tore up the seas in Man of Steel. The speculations and rumours were denied by Momoa for a long while, but finally everyone's favourite superhero is going to be played by the huge guy that rides horses in Game of Thrones. I for one want to have at least three seahorse jokes dropped into the film. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released May 2016.

Bane and Smaug in the list for Strange?
With Scott Dirrickson as the director for the elusive Doctor Strange film, many names have been thrown around for a famous face to lead. Benedict Cumberbatch and
Tom Hardy have been the latest names to emerge from the Marvel Studios. With Johnny Depp, Jared Leto, Joseph Gordon-Levitt also in the mix for the neurosurgeon sorcerer, it seems Marvel are looking in the A-list bank for the next expansion of films. Doctor Strange has no release date, but we will be watching it carefully and hoping for news soon.
Will Gambit run alone first?
Channing Tatum has hinted at being in talks about a "standalone first". Gambit is seen as one of the most popular and complex X-Men characters that was not explored in too much depth during his first appearance in X-men origins: Wolverine. It is understood that he will be in X-men: Apocalypse, but will Tatum's standalone appear before or after the apocalypse? X-men: Apocalypse will be released 19th May 2016.

From Sinister to Strange!
Doctor Strange is on his way with the director of the horror film Sinister, Scott Derrickson, tweeting his acceptance to the project. The film is based on the comic about the nerosurgeon who loses the use of his hands in an accident and decides to commit his life to the art of magic. Not only had the character earned a name drop in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but with Johnny Depp rumoured to be linked to the leading role of Doctor Stephen Strange, how will the film that may even pull the Defenders together work?
