New Batfleck Ride Images

The newest images for the Batmobile have been revealed. The ride looks like a dirt buggy version of the Nolan Tumbler. Let's just hope that the new Batmobile has just as much screen time as the last, along with the gadgets and insane car chases for Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice in 2016.

Batflek's flick makes jobs

Batman v Superman is to create 6,000 jobs! The first few scenes have been filmed with Gal Gadot as the new Wonder Woman, but soon the next section will be with Batman. The new Wonder Woman costume has been rumoured to be similar to the Injustice costume, The video game suit is a fun idea and have been seen as a less sexual version of the costume, but still a nice classic take on the Wonder Woman costume. We will have to wait on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.

Daredevil has a face!

That is right, Charlie Cox has been signed on as Marvel's newest character. the Netflix series Daredevil has seen lots of people coming and going the past few weeks, but now we know that the man who looked for a star in the film Stardust, will now be looking for crime as the blind hero of the New York underbelly. Cox will be starting his role soon and the thirteen episode series will air to Netflix in 2015.

Could the Batfleck see the Joker?

Larry Fong, the cinematographer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has released a photo. The photo has gone crazy online and as a keen fan myself; the image has given us a lot to think about. With the long cast list already, Callan Mulvey has been seen on the cast list. He has said he has been "sworn to secrecy" and it would be a while before we could get an official report. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be released summer 2016, with one of the most exciting cast lists we have seen in a long time.

X-Men: Days of Future Past Review

The X-men franchise has grown and grown of the past ten years, with the time range in the films spanning the early 60's to present day, but now we see the future. The film's time travelling consciousness plan worked well, even though at time we needed to be reminded how it worked with the brilliant explanation of her new powers from Shadowcat  (Ellen Page). Hugh Jackman's reprisal of the much loved Wolverine was just as brutal and tough, even if he didn't have his shiny claws the whole time. The film was fun, exciting and filled with the action scenes everybody, comic fan and film fan alike, really wanted to see. Although not the best as a structural concept, Days of Future Past delivered all the essential X-men humour and inside knowledge. Without ruining it too much, the ending has created a whole new view on the next films, with Wolverine changing the past, the new future everybody is looking forward to, may be shattered with the arrival of the newest and probably most powerful villain in X-men Apocalypse, which is set for a 2016 release. Days of Future Past in in cinema now and has proved it is a worthy addition to the X-men series.

Not such a fun surprise Marvel

Antman director Edgar Wright has officially left the project over creative differences. Although Marvel have told us that "a new director will be announced shortly", the script was co-written by Wright and it is unclear whether that will be leaving with him too. The thought about his departure can also be seen as the pressure of the deadline of release, set for July 17 2015. With the film still not shooting, the date is slowly becoming an unrealistic target.  Lets just wait and hope that Antman can pick himself out of the dirt and ride into the battle of the box office with his army of garden life on time.

Wonder Woman, first look at her in...

in a blue dress...oh. That's right the new Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, has been seen on set with the Batman vs Superman crew. The images are not very cool, but it is at least a stepping stone to more from the production during the summer. If only we could see the new uniform and maybe something from the other costume departments. We'll have to wait and see. Batman vs Superman will be released May 6th 2016.

Giant robot dinosaurs...seriously!

Today sees the release of the new trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction. Although Michael Bay has been slated in the past by the hardcore fans, the latest instalment of the Transformers franchise looks just as visually epic as the last three. We are introduced more into the story, now seeing Optimus Prime running from humans, then the villains arrival and finally seeing the first footage of Grimlock, Optimus' new pet for the film. The giant T-Rex looks as though he is to join the Autobots in their latest attempts to save the Earth and try not to go extinct themselves in the process. Transformers: Age of Extinction is out June 27.

Daredevil, the next generation of hero TV

After the announcement that Netfilx will be aiding Marvel Studios with the creation of several series to be aired exclusively to Netflix, we are getting some details about the first series; Daredevil. This will be based in the Marvel cinematic universe alongside the Avengers and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, Joe Quesada, has said the series will seem like a "very large movie", based inside 13 episodes. The series will be aired in 2015 and the fans hope it will be a step up from Afleck's Daredevil in 2003. Let us also hope to see him joining forces with the heroes of the big screen sometime in the future.

Potter spin off on for 2016

After the trauma of seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 end in the spectacular fashion it did in 2011, Warner Brothers have geared up and got the spin off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them set for a November 18th 2016 release. With J.K Rowling penning the script as we speak, I think we can expect some "fantastic" things coming with the new instalment of the wizarding world. Let's just hope no more house elves are harmed in the making of this film.

Eisenberg talks Luthor

After the announcement that Jesse Eisenberg would be playing the infamous Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman, the fans were very confused. Although an acclaimed actor with a good history of work, he has hair, like a whole head of it. Eisenberg has said that the character will be a different version of the character and will act and look slightly different to fit into Zack Snyder's darker DC universe. He was unable to tell anyone about the hair situation, but fans see the possibility of him keeping his hair and portraying the Superman: Earth One version of the villain. Batman vs Superman will be released May 2016.

Batfleck is here

Zack Snyder has lived up to his promise, the new vehicle and hero have been photographed for us. The image isn't as clear as we hoped, but it is good enough to ready the fans for the Batfleck. Batman vs Superman is going to be released in 2016.

Peggy's Back

Hayley Atwell is to return as Agent Peggy Carter, the love interest of Captain America: The First Avenger. This will be in the former of her own ABC series, Agent Carter. The plot is based after Captain America's disappearance and after the second world war, where people are trying to return to normal. We hope to see lots of fun references to the Avengers and lots of exciting new stories. The series is to be aired in 2015, but no certain date has been made clear.

Gambit, confirmed

Producer for the new X-Men: Days of Future Past, has confirmed that Gambit will be portrayed by Channing Tatum. The producer described Tatum as  "rogue" with a "good heart", which is what makes him perfect for the role. Although Gambit has been seen already during X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Taylor Kitsch's performance was not received well from the fans of the character. We also don't know which film he will appear in. Fox has confirmed X-Men: Apocalypse and another Wolverine film, so is it possible that Tatum will be able to star in both?

TMNT, give it a chance!

With the latest TV spot out now, that includes a glimpse of the back of Master Splinter's head, Michael Bay's take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been met with lots of mixed reviews. A new vision of the Turtles was needed after the disappointing film from 2007, TMNT. Bay is famed for his extravagant nature in films and his outright demolition of the normal rules that would apply to a franchise, but is this always a bad thing? Although I can agree that he dragged out the Transformers series of films, I think we can agree that the action and the rebuilding of an old fan favorite is sometimes an alternative to a hopeless shot for shot remake of the classics. Also, by slating the film so early on, we as the fans are not helping to give it a chance; I mean, what if it is actually really good? Do we lie, just to stop the TMNT fans from ripping us apart? Are we meant to tell people we hated the special effect, the inspiring challenges set before the turtles, when in fact some might enjoy the film? Lets wait and see.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is released on 17th October for the UK, which in it's own right, sucks!

Amazing Spider-Man 2, Review

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was in itself, pardon the pun, an amazing film. The main issues I saw with it was the speed it went, the narrative seemed rushed and it relied on the spectacular (for the comic fans sorry for the the choice of adjectives) visual effects from Electro and Spider-Man. The battle sequences were made even more superior, (see what I did there?) to the last film with the use of slow motion and close, two shots of the characters. The film had a feel about it near the end that can only be described as "Middley", which to me means it felt like a middle film and it was leading to something bigger. To put this into comparison, the "Middley" feeling fans felt with The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, or Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, where no matter how much you enjoyed the film, you know something bigger is still to come. I would completly recommend the film to those who are not into the comics that much, but for the diehard comic fans, Amazing Spider-Man 2 is simply a tool to get the Sinister Six ready and hopefully a kick in the direction of Venom.

Star Wars Production Begins Today

Star Wars Episode VII: The One without George Lucas?   is the most suitable title so far for the upcoming Star Wars film. Although it was scrutinized in the beginning when Disney took control of the giant known as Lucas films, it's now looking like the work director J.J Abrams and the casting choices are going to be a hit with most of the fans. I think we can expect a better attempt at an updated Star Wars than episode 1, 2 and 3, anyway. The filming is said to begin in Abu Dhabi today and it is thought that will serve as the setting for Tatooine, the planet that Anakin and Luke originated from before becoming a villain and hero. Maybe we could see an anti-hero appear from the desert plant this time?

Batmobile, Cruelest Teaser Ever?

With the excitement building for Batman vs Superman, Zack Snyder is teasing the fans with the back end of the new Batmobile. We know that it is Ben Affleck (Batfleck, the fans) who will be tearing up the tarmac in the new beast, but we have no images of his suit or his gadgets, so it is only right that we get to see the new car. With an all star cast and the most mysterious plot line ever hidden from some of the most agitated fans known to the world, is Snyder trying to torture us by making us wait till later today for more?

Kinberg downs the idea of a X-Men and Fantastic Four shared universe

The X-Men writer, Simon Kinberg has said that it would be "complicated" to place the upcoming Fantastic Four  film in the same universe as the X-Men  films. This idea of a shared universe is incorporated into the Marvel Studios team of films and TV series, with the Avengers living alongside the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and soon Daredevil living in the same time as the Guardians of the Galaxy. It is known that even DC's new film, so far known as either Man of Steel 2,  or, Batman vs Superman, is to create its own film universe for the characters. So, with the other companies striving to bring lives together in the form of separate movies, then a combination film; is it really that difficult for Fox to realize that the Fantastic Four could us friends like the X-Men in order to reclaim popularity after the disappointment of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?

Michael Giacchino to Score Trevorrow's "Jurassic World"

Although a plot is still a mystery to us fans, we have recently learned that Michael Giacchino will be scoring the next installment of the "Jurassic" series. Giacchino is famed for his work in Pixar with Cars 2, Ratatouille, Incredibles and winning the Oscar with Up, but he is also known for the scores of Star Trek, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Super 8 and Mission Impossible III. All we can hope is that the Jurassic World will be able to live up to the high standard set by the composer, we will find out in June 2015.
